Grey Seagar has held senior management roles in large New Zealand and multinational companies. As a general manager he was involved in all areas of the enterprise including contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, monopolistic trade practices, restructuring, financial reporting, employment, marketing and sales. This commercial experience gives him a greater understanding of the risks associated with legal interventions — in both commercial and private arenas.

In addition to an LL.B., Grey holds a masters degree in commerce specialising in commercial law and strategic management, this background coupled with his "real world" commercial experience means he understands the issues, with all their nuances, from both the client’s and the legal perspective.
